why would i read a healthcare thread to continue the debate i was having with Cat Whisperer about racism? THere is no point because I moved the debate to a “mini rant” thread, I directed my post there and it should have continued there. If i’m the one railing on you for doing something stupid do you not come to me to rectify it? Was I not the person who had this beef? Why not direct the correction to my attention?

First of all, Cat Whisperer is female. For those of you who don’t know, she is the poster formerly known as featherlou. And she is, shall we say, not known for racist rantings.
Second of all, your OP is silly and incoherent. And I really don’t know what you’re so upset about. You’ve failed to make a valid argument.
Here’s a summary, without time-stamps.
She said something that came out wrong. She admitted that and re-stated it.
You started a pit thread that makes you sound like a nut.
Amazingly, that makes sense. As as whisperer, of course Cat Whisperer would be against rages.
That’s the worst summary I’ve ever seen. How are we supposed to make heads or tails of what’s going on without time stamps??

Methinks you have the cart before the horse. With all your goings on about date and time stamps, the fact remains that you complained in the mini-rant thread well after Cat Whisperer had already clarified her statement in the original thread. You know, going off madly in all directions rather than simply reading the thread upon which you are basing your comments is not a good thing, for by doing this, you are taking one item and making a hasty conclusion against a group of items.
The onus is on you to read the threads in which you participate. That is how things get brought to your attention – by being posted in threads in which you led others to believe that you were posting, rather than simply making drive-by, of-topic comments.

seriously i set the stage for the argument to continue in the Pit thread, and she responds in the healthcare thread? she even goaded me there, why would i check to see if there was a correction? I was sort of pissed that the response was said just to make me respond and I responded with this long-winded post. She goaded me in the pit thread, why the hell wouldn’t she put a link to the correction and say my bad, don’t go for it, big fella. Would you just take it as it is and make a super coherent and perfectly easy to read response? basically I was fucking told “go ahead asshole try and rip me a new asshole”.

Yes, she made you start this thread. Yes, she made you not continue to read the thread in which the offending post and the correction post were made. Cat Whisperer has that sort of power over sentient beings. It’s why she is a whisperer. You had best not get on her bad side, or she will use her whispering power to make you post even more sily things.

So wait. Why did you feel the need for the time stamps? The way you said “please note the time stamps” made me think the timing of the posts were more important to you than the content. But now I see that you’ve misread some of it.
So what were you hoping to show via the timings of the Posts- Not the content, but the TIMINGS? Why was I supposed to note them vs. just a simple “She stated, I stated, she replied, I retorted”.
Did I really need the Mafia style CSI chronological time stamps to know the times of days that you guys were posting?
