Categories missing now from hamburger dropdown

What's going on with the hamburger menu? {May 25, 2023}

I just came off a 4-hour straight teaching binge. Before the binge, the hamburger menu showed what it had always shown (number of new threads, number of unread threads, number of messages, and a couple of other things. Now it’s showing two categories: Community and Messages. And the choices underneath those two categories are not all that helpful. What happened? Better question: how do I get it back to the old useful way?
