Please to enjoy this video of a cat obsessed with a vacuum. It’s a bit different to the usual ‘cat enjoys being vacuumed’ videos.
So…what exactly is going through this cat’s head? Is it the sensation of the vacuum on its tongue? Or is there some sort of metallic taste it likes? Post your theories!
I am not a kitty psychic, so my explanation is pretty much summed up by the topic. My favorite parts of the video, though? When he gets his face sucked into the vacuum. 
I have no idea, but that is quite adorable.
And then he whacks it with his paw… “Bad vacuum!” 
I just figured somebody smeared liver paté on the inside of the vacuum hose in hopes of making a viral video.
Seems to have worked.
Good thing they werent using a big Dyson or the video would have ended differently.
No amount of any delectable meat paste would get either of my cats that close to a working vacuum cleaner hose. If I tried to train them to it with the vacuum off, the first time I turned it on would be the last time they’d go near it.
This. And I’d also be worried that it could suck out things like the kitty’s eyes.
Word. My cats run in terror when they see me touch the vacuum cleaner, much less turn it on.
What’s going through his mind is pretty much the same as when Bubba says, “Hey, hold my beer! Watch this! It’s really cool!”

There is NO way my cats would do something like that - one runs and hides in the basement the minute I open the closet door where the vacuum is stored, two others get up on the windowseats and watch from a safe distance, the last will follow it and smack it with her paws but if I turn it towards her she runs.
So it’s “Hey, hold my nip!”?
My cat licks and bats objects, like that, indiscriminately. She’ll grab something with her paws, pull it in, start licking and biting, and if you try to remove the object, she’ll start batting it.
