You can run, but you can’t hide.
Paul? Paul Ryan? You’re on the Dope?
If you do, it’s the Republicans’ fault for not raising the debt ceiling.

Shodan
No, it’s their fault for raising the budget and then refusing to pay for it.
You’re still having comprehension trouble, aren’t you?

I want you to go to your room and think about what you just did.
You still don’t understand what the debt ceiling is, do you?
It’s money out of thin air… that someone has to pay back or not or maybe print some more… to ignore the problem, that does not exist, while everything gets cheaper and noone has money to pay for it, because they already have to much anyway, right?
As much as I laughed at the reactions to the OP, I do think that it’s inconsiderate of the President to interrupt programming like that. What he was saying wasn’t an emergency of some sort. If he plans to make a policy speech and broadcast it on network TV, why can’t he schedule it to actually replace a programming block, and have the TV listings reflect, ahead of time, that a Presidential speech is on the schedule (as done with the State of the Union Address)? Why the nasty “Surprise, you don’t get to see how the show you started watching ends” crap?
Yes, it’s funny that the OP overreacted. It still sucks to have your program interrupted in that manner.
The President isn’t in charge of what CBS airs on CBS. CBS is. Be mad at them.
Are you sure?
I thought the President even dictates when people can go to the toilet, Ad breaks on TV, the weather and when the sun rises.
I love the part of the show where the little figure of John Boehner in lederhosen goes over the fiscal cliff.
The alpha lemming goes first, the rest follow.
