The newsradio station here in Chicago – WBBM – is a CBS Radio affiliate; they were directly owned by CBS until about a decade ago (when CBS spun off all of their radio stations).
They made a statement today saying that they have no plans to change away from their all-news format, even though they will be losing the CBS network segments, including the top-of-the-hour national news segments.
