I have an Epson 960 and it works brilliantly. So this morning when I decided to print up a DVD, I tested it on a CD with a label first. My artwork turned out perfectly. However, when I tried printing on a white printable DVD, it didn’t turn out nearly as well. The colors all seem subdued, as if there were a thin film covering them. Also, the top portion of my DVD is all black, however, there’s a lot of little white dots lining the top, almost like droplets. It[s similar to when you run a wet bar of soap along a shower wall (only much smaller). Is it the type of printable DVD I’m using perhaps? I need to solve this problem. Many thanks!
I should also mention that the DVD has only been drying for half an hour. My printer recommend 24 hours; but I doubt this is the cause of my problems.
