Have my second version of the first Enigma CD (The one with Sadness and Mea Culpa) - First one got scratched by my sister who apparently thinks it’s best for the CD to be placed face down on the table when removed from the player.

William S. Burroughs’s Spare Ass Annie and Other Tales
Fantastic.

Jewel’s first album, Pieces of You has a weird history with me. I bought the CD once, then had to sell it a few years later when we were short on cash. I bought it again when things were better, then lost it shortly thereafter (I think I lent it to a friend or colleague, but I honestly can’t remember who). I was going to give up on it, when (here’s the weird part), I was walking through the grass in my front yard and saw the CD, all by itself with no jewel case, laying right there in my front yard. It was early morning and nobody was around. I took it as a sign and kept it for myself, and that’s the one I still have.

I also took it as an opporunity, as I’ve never liked the cover art of the original CD, so I made my own: front and back.

So, that one was purchased twice, and inherited once.

I’ve also purchased three copies of Sarah McLachlan’s Surfacing (one for me, two as gifts) and two copies of Lori Carson’s Stars (one for me, one gift).
