If you will agree that you and your mods have made some mistakes, and sometimes blamed the wrong people (e.g. “Troll2”) for being trolls, then I will, as ranking troll, be sure they post no more messages for 7 days.
If you agree, no one will blame you.
If you don’t, some will see your position, but some will be confused and disappointed.
(This is not to mention the 7 more days of trolls.)

Oh, sure. The mods and admins must grovel to a diffuse bunch of boring, sociopathic losers, and in exchange trust to honor among trolls to hold the deal–until the next set of demands are made.

You aren’t waging a war, pal. Collectively you’re merely boring, dreary little pests infesting a quality place.
The lines are drawn. Everyone, get your pointy sticks. The troll wars have been instigated by one of their own. We do not negotiate. I’ve got my stick. Have the other troll hunters gotten theirs?
Fellow 'Dopers, clearly we are vastly outnumbered and outgunned by the Troll army. After all, they have… uh… how many guys do they have? Two? Maybe three?
What weapons do they have? Idle threats? Baseless claims? Big words? Bad grammar?
What life do they have? None? Less than none? Hanson-fan level?
Ed, I’d rather put up with a thousand trolls than give into
extortion. “Millions for defence, but not one cent fro tribute”.
The trolls seem to forget that amoung the SDMBers are Attorneys, System analysts, hackers, crackers & federal Agents. I am not making any threats, but we are looking at a minor annoyance- the troll is looking at Federal prison time.
This troll is getting tired of all the run around, but he can’t just quit, why, that’d be pathetic of him, and he’s in no way pathetic! So he looks for a way to quit without looking like a bitch.
There are numerous threads to explain all of this if you care to read them. It would be easier to just tell you about it. Do you have any instant messenger programs like AIM, Yahoo, or ICQ?

And it’s really no big deal. School is out or something, and a few obnoxious trolls like to come by and bother people now and then. For the most part, just don’t feed them and they die soon of starvation.
