I hear ya Coldie. Trolls are nothing more than social degenerates that demean the rest of the human race. The’re inbred halfwits that are degrading to the global gene pool, abominations mentally unable to handle anything other than felching various farm animals and thinking of the incredibly stupid shit they post in these forums, which doesn’t say much for their mental capacities. Try to focus on the positive. While Junior may be annoying to us, he’s helping the board itself. Everytime he invents a new name, the member count goes up by one. This in turn helps the Chicago Reader sell advertising space here.
So think of him as a virus. He makes you want to puke for a few days but you get over him and emerge stronger than when you started. Junior on the other hand is stuck with what he is. He can travel around infecting new places but he will never be more than what he is right now.
Or you can compare it to flushing shit down the toilet. You flush it into the toilet, which then goes into the sewar, which then goes into the ocean to cause more problems for us.
I already came up with an idea that would work, for this asshole, and his clones, delete all his posts and whatever thread he starts. Just gone-poof.

The other thing that could be done, is simply ignore him. Don’t post on the thread he starts. don’t reply to him, don’t feed him. BUT WE ALL HAVE TO DO IT!!
Saw your post on V8s thread and nearly posted to back you up, but then I remembered that it would only bounce it to the top like he wants, so I let it go. I hope everyone else does the same.

If we get annoyed enough, we can always initiate “Plan: Omega”.
This is a last-ditch effort, something the Admins do ONLY as an absolutely, positively last resort. We stop allowing new members. For however long it takes for the new security patch (mentioned by the Admins in other threads) becomes available.
Like I said, we only do this if those little “I have nothing better to do than annoy hundreds of people” pricks become too much to bear. I know we advocate fighting ignorance, and prohibiting new members could be counter-productive, but it’s hard to fight ignorance when we’ve got so many assholes chomping on our buttcheeks.
Another tactic would be to put a waiting period on new members (a day? two? five?), so as to make sock-puppetry “not worth the time”. I mean, there’s only so many ways we can say “Hint hint” to these people.
I swear by the all knowing Cecil that I will not post to the sockpuppet’s/troll’s/pissbag’s threads if there is a post of DNFFT already there. If I see one without DNFTT on it . I will place one .

Got it, and count me in with the DNFTT brigade. Must say I felt guilty even looking, though, because it pushes up the “views” count. Hard to tell from just the subject line sometimes, and the idiots pick up, use and discard names like Kleenex.
