Cecil Adams exposed! HE IS NOT A REAL PERSON

Time to let the cat out of the bag.

While browing around Wikipedia, I discovered a dark secret about the great Cecil Adams. Or rather, the myth of Cecil Adams. Being more sensationalist than anti-drug propagonda I decided to share this with you.

Cecil Adams Wikipedia link. Now if you notice the tag at the top desputing the factual accuracy youll notice these facts in the talk page .

I think that a quick search on TESS (Trademark Electronic Search System) gives us confirmation that there isn’t a person named Cecil Adams who happens to know the answer to just about any question he is asked. In fact, the Trademark on the name Cecil Adams clearly states that CECIL ADAMS DOES NOT IDENTIFY ANY PARTICULAR INDIVIDUAL BUT WAS DEVISED AS A FANCIFUL NAME. ----unsigned comment by anon user:Damienlittre

The link for the TESS search for Cecil Adams is here. . It does say that CECIL ADAMS DOES NOT IDENTIFY ANY PARTICULAR INDIVIDUAL BUT WAS DEVISED AS A FANCIFUL NAME. Plus it lists Cecil Adams as being dead.

This isnt some crackpot posting but our own government. Sure, I love the Straight Dope and Cecil Adams but the truth is what I value most and now it’s time for the truth about Cecil Adams.

Unless I am wrong and the TESS means something else.
