Celebrity Death Pool 2014

At this time last year:

  1. Registered at Last had 300 points already.
  2. 19 other players were in 3 digits.
  3. 58 players had more points than bowler girl does now. (We don’t even have 58 posters with points of any sort yet!)
  4. 114 players had points.

The celebs are really letting us down this year by persistently staying above ground, the selfish bums.

Tell me about it! My picks are evidently making plans for New Year’s Eve 3014.

But, it looks like things are picking up. So far this month, it’s been April Ghouls.

I’m putting the longevity status down to better security measures:D

Auntie Zeituni, ward of the state and aunt of President Obama, at 61.

Arthur Smith has been delivered from this life.

Wow, married for 73 years to the same person.

Well played. (Bolding mine.)

Let’s see: if I live to be 110, and my wife lives to be 99…the odds are rather against my being able to say the same someday. Such is death.

A unique pick as well. You leap into eighth place.

Phyllis Frelich, Tony award winning deaf actress dead at 70.

Otto Peterson of the ventriloquist/dummy combo Otto and George is dead at 54. George is alive and well.

I read a lot of books about basketball and followed the Hawks during the late '70s-90s (when I lived in Atlanta) and I can’t recall hearing about this guy, ever.

According to the obits he played from 1966 to 1979.

Rats. Because I had George on my list, but not Otto.

(jk, of course)

Well, there have been rumors of Dutch Elm disease and termites.
