I’ll update the scores tonight, there should finally be a lot.
Nobody had Francine York, Nat Hentoff, Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Peter Sarstedt, Mário Soares, James Mancham, Abdulkadir Kure, Michael Chamberlain, Buddy Greco, Tommy Allsup, Peter Nowell, William Peter Blatty, Lord Snowden, Dick Gautiar, or Milton Metz, by the way.
Okay, so…I’m going to award the Opening Kickoff Award as a tie as well, so it goes to all of the people below.
The scores now are…
cardboardbox has 37 points.
Superdude, Labtrash, Andrew 21, GIGOBuster, Dr Girlfriend, Martonio, Mahaloth, FavreCo, Team Dirt, RobotDevilDog, It’s Not Rocket Surgery!, jeezums, Jeep’s Phoenix, Loach, bowler girl, notfrommensa, and Idle Thoughts all have 27 points.
Everyone here gets the Opening Kickoff Award.
~Congrats!~

High fives all around. 12 to go.
Nice to be on the board early. Last year I had all of one person…Joey Feek, who didn’t die until March.
I think it is my first ever award.
Not eligible as a death pool pick, but certainly a celebrity in his own right, Tilikum’s murderous days have ended.
Levi Felix, founder of Digital Detox, has died at 32.
I was here to witness the event. Can I get a participation ribbon? Buy a tee-shirt?
Philly crime boss Little Nicky Scarfo dies in a prison hospital at 87.
Man, that moon dust must be bad for the health.
I had him a couple of years ago, I had all astronauts/cosmonauts.
After letting you live to over 80, not so sure about that.
Nobody had Levi Felix, Nicky Scarfo, or Gene Cernan.
I recall Cernan on television, proud of how many Apollo astronauts were naval aviators.
Now I am trying to imagine the Apollo 17 crew trying to pinpoint their position by pointing a sextant out the CM window.
Not exactly out…
They had some darned expensive ones.
“Arrr! There be women aboard!”
Sorry.
