His blood runs cold.
It was after I directed his attention towards the UK show Twenty Twelve which was suspiciously similar to The Games. He then wrote an article here. He never interacted with me, but I took his ‘follow’ as a kind acknowledgement.
The top 13 places in the standings have remained unchanged since February 20. Nobody in the top 13 has gotten any new points during that time, and nobody further down the list has gotten enough points to displace Team Dirt (great username for a Death Pool participant!) in the #13 spot, let alone anyone higher up.
Death stinks!
TMZ is reporting that Charlie Murphy is dead at 57 from leukemia. So far it looks like they are the only ones reporting it.
She was also a correspondent for CBS at the 1994 Winter Olympics - pretty much limited to interviewing athletes’ mothers and then-First Lady Clinton (caption: “Dave’s Mom” and “Chelsea Clinton’s Mom”).
It’s on www.people.com.
ETA: His wife, Tisha Taylor Murphy, died in 2009 from cancer, as well. They had two children together.

He hasn’t died, but St Louis Cardinal great/Chicago Cub trade fodder Lou Brock has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma. He is 77.
And she passes me up again. Thank goodness I still have Swampy under me.
Wait ------- that doesn’t sound totally good, does it?

Moving on rather quickly to other news, the world’s oldest wombat is also the most ugly.
I don’t think its that ugly.

That is a damn ugly kick stand, Dude. Sad.
Not an entry, per se, but retired NFL player Todd Heap accidentally truck and killed his 3-year old daughter when he was moving his truck.
Fuck, what a nightmare. I’m trying to imagine what it must be like in a family after something like that happens.
If Robert W. Taylor had been more well known, someone might have raked in 15 points for him. His CV makes Steve Jobs look like a poser.
Emma Morano, the world’s oldest person, has died at 117.
There are no points involved, but it’s damned suspicious that the world’s oldest people are dying one by one!
Has anyone seen Angela Lansbury poking around where these “world’s oldest people” are dying?
