I see he/ she got a DCM for trolling. I don’t think anyone will saturate their pillow over that, but I haven’t seen anything here yet. I thought it was only a sock or spammer who wasn’t acknowledged?

Maybe Twicks has been too busy to post it after locking the threads.

We generally only publish “obits” here for people who have been around long enough to be missed. And we do NOT like to publish notices for banished trolls – the whole point of trolling is the craving of attention, and we don’t want to give them encouragement (even by notice of banning.)

Note from Rules for Posting on the Straight Dope Message Boards:

While we post the reasons for banning a long-time poster, we really don’t want to post reasons for sock puppets, banned persons trying to sneak back in, or spammers – we don’t want them to have more publicity.
