Not to mention Aegean beer, sangria, ouzo, maybe some retsina for those of you into that.

Well, I think it’s pretty much up to the guests of honor, no? Although I don’t know when everyone will get out of work. Depending on how insane this week is, some of you may be in for a round of cocktails while the rest of us extricate ourselves from our offices. I try to leave the ofifce by 6 pm, and it usually works.
OK- we’ll be there at 6.
When can we expect the rest of you?
I will try and get there shortly after 6 as well. Should we ask for the Cecil Adams party, or just look for the loudest people on the roof? Of course, if Eva Luna, Gundy, or any of the other regular ChiDopers finds you before I do, I’ll find you no problem.

I get off work at the Merchandise Mart at 5, I should be there by 5:30 or so, maybe I will stay a few minutes later and make the boss happy.

Be sure to enjoy the dead salmon floating in the lake. My faves are when the gulls perch on them and start pecking off chunks before the fish are quite dead yet. Yum!
