I was slightly familiar with Cesario, mainly from the “Youth Sufferage” thread, but after reading this I am thoroughly creeped out. I just want to rub myself down with Purell.
Anyone who can seriously write the phrase “…very attractive 4-year old” is… I 'dunno; help me out with an adjective. Repugnant? Icky? I just can’t get that phrase out of my mind; I imagine it being delivered in a lispy, wet, asthmatic whisper punctuated by “…heh, heh, heh.”

And I find the threats and implied threats in this thread a hell of a lot more objectionable than Cesario’s trolling.
That may be why he came here.
He’s got a habit of hijacking threads by pushing them toward one of his favorite subjects, and that’s generally frowned on. Of course, it’s also true that once he shows up in a thread, even if he does not say something immediately related to pedophilia, one poster or another will ask him about it.

If you choose to interpret that as me trying to shut him up, fine. Unlike you I don’t believe every person is privileged to talk about any topic they like without outraged opposition, even when that topic is offensive and against common decency. I haven’t declared any such thing. But I think when you embrace a POV that is repugnant, you take the chance that people will in no uncertain terms inform you that your POV is repugnant and that you are contemptible for holding it.
That’s what free speech means. Person A gets to say whatever disgusting indefensible thing he wants, and then Person B gets to point out it’s disgusting and indefensible. Free speech doesn’t mean no consequences for anything you say.

Frankly, I find Cesario’s posts so beyond the pale that I assume he’s just messing with us, not unlike the guy who claimed to undergo sexual reassignment surgery and then continued teaching. (Can’t find the thread for it.) ** LunaticFringette’s** examples just further this notion.
