Challenge us with a non-famous line from a movie

Correct!

Sally Field to Ron Liebman in Norma Rae.

I’ll give you a clue: This line was preceded by “Yes, sir” in response to “Any hot food?”

Bingo!

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.

Very good.

To be precise, it’s the recorded voice of Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Telly Savalas) re-inforcing sleep hypnosis for British “Angel of Death” Ruby Bartlett (Angela Scoular). One of the campier elements of the film.

Does this mean that she loves the sound of chickens clucking?

All a bit silly isn’t it? Hypnosis isn’t going to prevent a physical allergy, surely. Great film though.

“The cure is not completely psychological, Sir Hillary,” as Blofeld explained. It’s still pretty dumb, and silly.

There’s a lot I still like about the film, but the “Angels of Death” bimbos now seem really cringeworthy.

“Well he’s holding onto his shit like it was money”

The Unforgiven

Yep - I was afraid that was too easy. But good job.

‘So are you, Fast Eddy\’. Jackie Gleason to Paul Newman in The Hustler.

“This is supposed to be a happy occasion! Let’s not bicker and argue over who killed who!”

Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

No one has gotten these yet

“The lucky ones are dead. Of the others, some will go mad. The others will slowly rot away and die in gradual agony. We have won the war.”

“It’s only Neutron. We call him that because he’s so positive.”

“My mind is my own, and nobody’s going to change it!”

“Boy, when I die, I hope I go to Akkra!”

More clues: The movie came out in 1963 and was set in the South Pacific.

Testament?

'fraid not.

It’s a pretty obscure movie that I’ll bet most people, even on this esoterica-loving Board, haven’t heard of.

Not for nothing, but I don’t think you’re fully grasping the concept of this game. How is someone supposed to guess a non-famous line from a film no one has ever seen? Congratulations, you stumped us.

How can I know in advance which movies people have and have not seen? Nothing in the statement of the game said that this had to be a well-known movie.

And this bunch can be relied on to have seen plenty of non-famous movies.

I feel absolutely certain that many of you have seen this flick.
