Challenge us with a non-famous line from a movie

I’d add Pulp Fiction.

I’ll submit Galaxy Quest.

Pygmalion or My Fair Lady (take your pick)

His Girl Friday

My Man Godfrey (1936)

The Philadelphia Story or High Society (one is a musical, the other isn’t)

Arsenic and Old Lace

Some Like It Hot

The Producers (1967)

Leave the cannoli, add The Godfather. With a side helping of The Fifth Element.

Not for nothing, but for most of those you could recite the entire script and I’d still be stumped.

Big Trouble in Little China

Kind of implies someone could quote the whole movie verbatim… I’d love to see that

The head of my college film club, before I took over, could recite the entire script of Casablanca from memory.

No time for the old in-out, love. I’ve just come to read the meter.

“Are you prepared to die?”
“No; I’m 12. Are you?”

A Clockwork Orange?

“I saw him through the letterbox.”

“I work for the company, but don’t let that fool you - I’m really an okay guy.”

Aliens

“It’s just that I told myself not to say ‘Pope Alexander’ and sound like a dope, and then I go ahead and say it.”

Okay, no one’s guessed “If I could think of an excuse you’d buy, I’d use it.”

It’s from Uncle Buck. Buck’s first shown conversation with Shanice.

How about this one?

“In a row??”

Clerks. “My girlfriend sucked 37 dicks!”

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind?

Yeppers.

People keep getting mine too fast. I think I need to recalibrate my idea of what a “non-famous line” is.

“Isn’t it funny? You hear a phone ring and it could be anybody. But a ringing phone has to be answered, doesn’t it?”

" I’ll play, you know, whatever you want me to play."
