Just a random thought I had today…
Chandra Levy is still missing.
And nobody cares.
Well, I’m sure that people care in that vague “Poor girl, I hope they find her” way, but the MEDIA, now, they don’t seem to care anymore. Bigger better stuff goin’ on now… (better for ratings, that is.)
I never cared about her to begin with.

Well, let me tell you the story
of a girl named Chandra
on a sad and fateful day.
She packed her bags
for a trip to California
and hasn’t been seen since early May.
Did she ever return,
no she never returned
and her fate is still unlearned.
Maybe she’s with Hoffa?
She’s the girl who never returned.
Nope, should have left that one line as, “Maybe she’s with Jimmy Hoffa?” Fits the melody better.
I am hoping the voters in Condit’s district will care come election time. I am counting that my fellow Californians are smart enough to say this guy shouldn’t be in office.
Oh, I know someone will come in and say “innocent until proven guilty”. But it is not that, I am judging him based on how he handled himself in a crisis–not well at all.
I’ve been posting in inappropriate places all over these boards, posing the same question.
Where IS Chandra Levy?
Evidently, the OP and I are the only ones who do care. I also care about all the thousands of other missing people that nobody is looking for because we’re too busy worrying about threats of possible terrorism which may or may not happen.
Terrorists or not, the poor girl is still missing. I’m convinced she’s dead in a ditch somewhere. But for her family’s sake, I wish her body would be found.
Has anyone asked Gary Condit where he was on Sept. 11?
