Who in an in-universe example could be related to the improbably similarly named Khan Noonian Singh.
I’m thinking Felix Unger, Niles Crane and Adrian Monk were triplets separated at birth.
Glee one: I think Kurt Hummel’s real dad is Capt. Jack Harkness. Buy that kid a coat
A late episode of the NBC drama series E.R. featured Alan Alda as an older doctor who was a mentor to Kerry Weaver earlier in her career and was a longtime teacher of emergency medicine, but was now suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. I wonder if Shawn from *Psych *is related to The Mentalist. They seem awfully competitive with each other (at least Shawn does) as well as eerily similar.
Maybe you had them mixed up with Bobbi Flekman?
(Stretching the OP just a little bit.)
Dianne Chambers from Cheers? A grown up Margaret from Dennis the Mennis.
BumbleBee from Transformers (who had been a Yellow/orange VW bug in the TV show) was earlier Herbie the Love Bug when he first arrived on Earth.
