The sheets on my bed are really starting to show their age.
A question for the SDMB masses … is there a place online, or a chain that’s common in the US, where one can find cheap quality bed linens? I’m talking 250 thread count and up, not the burlap that passes for linen at Wal-Mart.
Oh, another question … is there such a thing as a high-quality “Bed in a Bag?”
I don’t know of any on line websites that deal exclusively with high end bed linens, but I wouldn’t shop there any ways; I need to touch the linens before I make a decision. I shop at a store called Tuesday Morning, they sell high end linens and bath towels at a deep discount. Whenever I run my hands across the linens, they feel quite elegant. I’ve also had good luck purchasing from Bed, Bath & Beyond. Maybe you could buy linens off of their website. HTH
Samsclub.com has Bill Blass 600 thread ct. sheets for under $70.00. I think you have to be a Sam’s Club member to get them, but for 600 tc sheets, this is a hell of a deal!
Tuesday Morning was the first place I looked, but the one near me was “closed for restocking” until 16 August. WTF? I noticed that with a lot of Tuesday Morning stores; they’re closed for months at a time!
I buy my sheets from www.smartbargains.com - I recently bought two sets of 800 thread count sheets for about $100 per set. Shipping is really cheap with them, too!
I usually shop TJ Maxx for sheets. I recently got a new queen-sized bed, and I consistently find queen sized sheet sets there which run between 300-400 tc, 100% cotton for $40. Regular full size are probably about $5 cheaper than that. Don’t know about king size, never looked.
