Anyone catch this show yet? I thought nothing could top Springer in the trashy cheater dept, but this show does! It is basically Springer Cam on crack. The “elite” PI’s tail your SO and get proof of the cheating, then you get to confront them in public on TV. The host specifically says things that provoke the cheaters, the cheated on try to beat up the third party, basically it is a big circus. Who said channel surfing at 1 am on a saturday is dull?
And isn’t it amazing how so many of the cheating individuals try to sidestep the fact that they’re cheating by getting angry at their partners for putting them under surveillance? Then the wounded party rightly points out that the surveillance wouldn’t have been needed IF THEY WEREN’T OUT FUCKING SOMEONE ELSE?
My favorite episode was when a guy found his girlfriend cheating with another woman. It was so interesting because the guy, who didn’t look like he was exactly the alternative-lifestyle type, gave some SERIOUS thought to a three-way relationship. In fact, he decided that he didn’t really mind a three-way relationship in general, but that his girlfriend’s girlfriend was too much of a nasty bitch for him to want her around.
Well, most of the site is under construction, and the only page that was up is the form you can fill out. It asks for full name, date of birth and Social Security Number (of both you and the one you want tailed). And it’s not secured at all. Hard to believe people are dumb enough to supply all that. Wait. No it’s not.
I absolutely loathe this show. I have seen it twice.I watched it for its general train wreck of relationships and human emotions. I didn’t know it was going to be that bad. It makes Jerry Springer and guests look absolutely nice.
The “host” of the show completely baits the ones caught cheating into violent confrentation. I can’t wait until he finds some ultra violent gang scumbag who spends life in and out of jail to simply kill everyone on and off camera to put the show off the air. It is shadenfreude cinema at its worst and most hurtful.

This show cracks me up. It’s been on so long, I’ve seen the name of the host change. (he used to be Tommy Habib, now Tommy Grand. I’d love to know why he changed it… Is that an ethnic name? )
As far as the trash tv charge, this one is no different than any daily talk show. From Jerry Springer to Maury Povich to Jenny Jones to Montel, to etc… they all exploit people. At least Springer admits it is trash T.V. (Unlike most of these jackasses that try to pass themselves off as quality programming that’s making a difference. )
If you haven’t heard of Extreme Dating, you’re better for it, let me tell ya. The show sends a couple on a date, but the female is being fed info on the male by his ex-girlfriends. They don’t want the “date” to be successful, only to humiliate and embarrass someone. Or perhaps to make the viewers sick?! As an added horror, the “hostess” of this show is awful! I don’t know who she is, or where they found her, but she’s just the worst.
Cheaters sounds really bad, and this Extreme Dating show is likely on a par with it.
