The purported lesson is to teach those Muslims what it’s like to have to be near something you don’t like. See, they’re putting a cultural center (MOSQUE!) near (AT!) Ground Zero, and all right-thinking Americans don’t like it. So we teach them what it’s like. It’s like having a bunch of showtune singing old guys with loud smoker’s laughs living next to you.
Wouldn’t be too hard as long as you ignored the dots. Probably something like:
left arm held at 90 degrees, right arm straight out
one arm curled over your head, other arm down
one arm curled over your head other arm straight out
one arm straight up, other arm down.
I don’t know if it’s a joke or not, but he says it’s not.
And it’s not “sacred ground.” The Islamic Center is planned for two blocks from the WTC site.
“Gutfeld said his reasoning for opening the gay bar is twofold: first, to break down barriers of homosexual phobia, as the Muslim faith does not accept the homosexual lifestyle.” Is he also going to build a gay bar next to a Catholic church?
If you’re serious about opening a bar in that area you don’t just go on TV one day and announce that you’re going to do it. You need to have a business model, get some investors, and buy property. And you don’t do that kind of thing just to spite someone else. The Cordoba Initiative bought the warehouse for almost $5 million. This guy is making a joke.
No shit. I was saying that since people who are against the center - including Gutfield, perhaps - say the area is “sacred ground,” wouldn’t building a gay bar there be almost as bad as building a Victory Mosque?
