The criteria is that the Murrah Building bombing was a intended as a blow to the federal government with the intent of publicizing its misdoings, whereas the DC killings were the result of a couple of wacked-out malcontents taking out their frustrations by shooting random people from a car and belatedly and stupidly trying to extort money in trade for it to stop.

You people seriously need to get a grip. It’s nonsense to praise past politicians for preventing attacks that had no precedent. Further, one can hardly blame Bush for not taking the Clinton’s warnings seriously when Clinton never acted on them himself. And then, once that precedent had occurred, President Bush made sure it didn’t happen again.

So once again I say:

Good job, Mr. Bush! Good job, Mr. Cheney!

Wacked-out thrill killers do not count as domestic terrorists, in my opinion.

Timothy McVeigh and the Murrah Building bombing does count as domestic terrorism, however, and if you want to play that kind of game I’ll point out that Bill Clinton was president at the time.

And I’d be willing to bet you never gave a thought to blaming him in the same way that you’re so quick to blame Bush for not stopping a couple of nut jobs who were shooting people from inside a car.

911 was on Bush;'s watch and he was warned. Anthrax was on his watch and was never settled. When we went to Iraq ,for whatever reason Cheney and his son Bush said, our soldiers were bombed and attacked thousands of times. These were attacks by people who Bush identified as terrorists. We saved them the trip by going into the middle east. They had Americans right in their territory.

Even better, President Obama could do anything, anything…he could indeed do every single one of the horrible, nightmare-inducing things the conservatives keep saying he’ll do, and he and this administration as a whole will get a free pass by the next administration, as well as by the media and future generations. They’re cheerfully helping to set the precedent into stone that presidents shouldn’t be investigated and judged once they’re out of office. So, not only does President Obama have free reign to do whatever he wants to do, no one should, can or will touch him about it in the future. So say the conservatives. THANK YOU CONSERVATIVES!

Even better, they’re giving Vice President Biden an even bigger free pass. Good old, amiable, laid-back Joe Biden, he could have a hidden evil streak and do all sorts of nasty things with these new, expanded Vice Presidential powers (thank you Cheney) and he shouldn’t/can’t be touched.

Now, seriously, I don’t think President Obama or Vice President Biden will use these expanded powers and future free passes for ill, but it’s fun to think about all the socialist/fascist/communism/evil fever dreams the freepers have about Obama/Biden on a daily basis, and know that they’re condoning that kind of behavior at the same time they’re freaked out by the possibility of it.

If he’s sunning on a flat rock while swallowing a mouse, he is probably happy. Or maybe not actively unhappy. No, if he is swallowing a puppy or a kitty and a small child is sobbing disconsolately, he’s happy. Yeah, that’s it.
