At least he is consistent. He has always been a liar.
It would have been more sensational if Dick Armey had spoken more definitively… declaring outright that Cheney had lied to him instead of softening his statement with those “I feel…” and “may be the case” caveats. But, as you know, you go to press with the Dick Armey quote you have, not the Dick Armey quote you might want or wish to have at a later time.
Dick Cheney. Dick Armey. Cheney. Armey. Dick. Dick.

Cheney bullshitting the speaker of the house is one of the less egregious acts alleged in the book. Any idea how he became VP? He was the chairman of Bush’s VP vetting committee. He dug up dirt on all the other VP prospects, then claimed the spot himself(without filling out his VP questionnaire which would have exposed some of his dirt) and who is going to try to topple him when he has dirt on them and they have nothing on him? Angler is FULL of stuff like that.
