I know there’s a ton of Chicago Dopers in these parts, and I’ll be visiting your fair city very briefly on October 21.
I’ll be flying in at 7:30 and won’t be leaving again until 9:20. If anyone wants to join me at a bar in O’Hare (any good ones there?), I’ll be glad to buy ya beer.

That’s a Sunday night, isn’t it? I have to be up at 6 the next morning. And O’Hare is quite a ways from where I live. Too bad you aren’t staying longer. 
Yeah, it’s Sunday night unfortunately. I’ve got work early the next morning too and I’ve still got flying to do!
To the best of my knowledge, all of O’Hare’s bars are past security.

Pretty much. If you want to meet someone at O’Hare, you either have to leave the airport itself, or settle for Starbucks by the ticket counters.
I will vouch for the worthwhile-ness of meeting you for a beer though, and next time I have to drop by Peoria, I’ll call you again.

I’ve had a beer in O’Hare before. Well, okay, it was four, but I was there for an hour and a half. It went by myself, but met some interesting people. Good times.
Thanks for the endorsement, Mr. Bus Guy. You remain the only Doper I’ve actually met in real life, and it looks like that trend will continue.
I’ve got no problem tossing back a couple beers by my lonesome, a la Santo Rugger, but it would have been much more fun to meet a Doper.
