Chicago Dopers: restaurant advice needed

Sherman has been closed for years, they moved next door and the eat in traffic seems to be less than in the past. No bar.

Their old Church St. space is occupied by a Fogo De Chao rip off called Asado Grill which is connected the the Carmens peopls somehow, their other locations are in Albuquerque and Santa Fe just like Carmens. Still great stuffed spinach pizza and they have a buffet still on Monday nights which is a pretty good deal even if the pizza isn’t quite as good as the ones made for delivery.

Let me fourth Berghoff and second Billy Goat Tavern - both fond memories from my time in Chi-town 4 years ago.

It sounds like there are enough great places to eat out in Chicago every night for six months! Unfortunately, I’m going to have to narrow the list: I only get two lunches and two dinners there.
