Meh, we’ve been here before. The board survived the last takeover, I guess it will survive this one.
A smaller publishing outfit is likely to be more hands-on, which is good news for the Chicago Reader.
Not so much for a loss-leading unit which would very much like to be ignored. Hypothetically of course.

Why assume this is a loss leading unit? It probably costs peanuts to run so even if it does cost money then it would be microscopic on the parent company’s books.
I’ll retract loss-leading and double down on “Better if ignored.”
