Chicken crust pizza

Tonight I made chicken crust pizza.

The recipe calls for three chicken breasts. I think I found a picture of the breed of chicken. Very large breasteses. I used two breasts, and they were more than sufficient. The chicken crust didn’t taste like pizza crust; but it was good, and it functioned perfectly as a base. I topped it with most of a jar of pizza sauce, sweet Italian sausage, pepperoni, olives, and the rest of the cheese that was in the bag.

Is this in the same category of food as the KFC Double Down?

Reminds me a bit of chicken parmesan on steroids. IOW, tasty! Wonder if you could take a shortcut with ground chicken, possibly sub ground turkey.

I also wonder if you could use almond meal (flour) as that’s what I have on hand. I think I’ll try it and with ground chicken.

I don’t know what you would get from this, and it might well be good, but whatever it is, pizza it ain’t.
