Nah, I’d have remembered your face, but a) at that hour I haven’t really waken up yet, and b) I almost always have my Walkman on full-blast while commuting (I think at that moment I was listening to some random Bosnian dance tune in 7/8 time, with lots of brass), so I probably wouldn’t have heard you anyway.

If you are in the lobby at 5:20 pm on Friday, You will be on the shuttle to Gundy’s place.
To get the shuttle from the airport to the hotel, just follow the signs and red arrows on the floor that say Ground Transportation. The shuttle is at the pick up area at :15 and :45 past every hour.
How many people fit in the shuttle?
Um this will sound like a really stupid question…but…um… what hotel is it that I have a room at? :X
15 or 16. I believe there are about 8 or 10 (maybe 12) who have expressed interest in the shuttle. Sooo there should be plenty of room. Plus, the more people who go, the less the cost per person is. Everyone’s a winner!!!

I hurt my back and my chances of being able to host the boat tour are approaching 0. However, Jane D’oh has graciously agreed to take over for me. I’m still hoping to show up at some of the festivities.
Is Sheffield House as crappy as the reviews make it out to be? My friend made reservations there for Saturday night and I’m wondering if I’ll need to bring my Lysol.
ChiDopers–though we are usually public transport folks, we are actually probably driving to Reza’s–and therefore Black Rock–on Saturday. We can fit three more in our car, plus 2 others if you don’t mind sitting behind the dog gate in a Forester (though honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it). I don’t need you to respond–it’s just a heads up and you should tell us on Saturday if you want a ride. First come, first served.
Gundy and Jane, do you need us to do anything for Friday? We’ll bring some food, obviously, but anything else? We won’t be there till around 8 (stupid jeevmon lawyer hours!) but can bring something if you need us to. Or is the pleasure of our company and our food treat enough for you all?
I realize that this is a little unclear. We can offer you a ride from Reza’s to Black Rock on Saturday, not to Reza’s from wherever you are. (Unless you are in Bucktown. Then we don’t mind.)
I will likely be driving to Reza’s as well, although I have a Nissan Sentra, so less space than the commodious Jeevmobile. Figure 3 passengers, or 4 if they are either really narrow or really close friends. (Also first come, first served.)
