Chinese New Year

This coming Saturday is the Chinese New Year. We are entering the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese Zodiac. This is a very important holiday in Chinese culture, and the Dragon is a symbol of China, so this year is supposed to be good luck.

I don’t know much about the celebration; we’re going over that in class tomorrow. I’ll try to post some more information from Computer Apps. (I’ll be home this weekend instead of at school, which is good for me but bad for posting, because I have a pretty lousy computer at home.)

Any questions can be asked here, or if you know something, post it. www.chinese-astrology.com has an app that can calculate your sign in the Chinese zodiac.

Zaijian! Kuailede Xin Nian!

Bye! Happy New Year!

It’s also the Tibetan New Year. It’s calculated on a cycle we don’t use, but a few thousand years experience deserves appreciation.

Tashidelek, Y’all!

I’m putting my pop bottle rockets on standby.
