Christie today has a new scandal. From CNN, its conflict of interest where he may have inside tracked a large construction contract on the WTC Freedom Tower to Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys.
At its least, its a conflict of interest with a series of misstatements and backtracking So Intense it implies a bigger scandal. At its most, it could lead to a typical NJ Pay-For-Play Construction Scheme, something
honest construction companies in state can’t possibly compete against. There are already well documented misstatements about who met who and knew who when… and about who attended what games on whose dime, etc.
This Story Has:
*Pay-To-Play, a hot button issue in the construction industry in NJ.
*NJ/Tristate Taxpayer Contracts awarded out of state on a playing field that looks like it wasn’t level.
*Preferential Treatment towards The Much Hated Dallas Cowboys (And Their Owner).
My question is: Is This Finally the Torpedo that will get past the 2016-Run Chris Christie Double-Hull???
