I guess it’s a good thing that he wasn’t considering running for President himself, since his wife wouldn’t move to DC.

Great - blame the wife (and sleep on the couch).
She probably doesn’t want to be anywhere with him.
His personal gravity well might not give her a choice.
It seems like he’s deliberately trying to see how low he can drive his approval rating. It was at 18% in December.
Body shaming. Shocking.
He sometimes cohosts a morning sports talk show on the radio here. I guess it’s better than him actually governing?
Yes, such things are entirely inappropriate.
Until noon today, at which time, if taking our cues from our new leader… well Christie is a 3 at best.
A friend of mine is friends with Christie, opposed to him politically but likes him personally, and told me Christie said he was offered mid tier cabinet positions including Homeland Security. He didn’t want a no win job like that (you’re a nobody unless there’s a big successful attack, then it’s your fault) or stuff like Commerce etc. because he’d rather go make money in the private sector as ‘friend of the president’, which he still is according to Christie.
My source is not a BS’er generally nor any reason to make up this particular story. My friend believes Christie is genuinely straight forward, but it would seem Christie would have a reason to at least shade the truth as to how far on the outs he might really be with Trump and his people. Anyway FWIW.
Hey, we all enjoy a good Christie fat joke.
C’mon, it’s Christie! It’s not like you’re teasing a sympathetic person with human feelings.
Didn’t he get the bariatric surgery like a year or two ago? If so, has he actually lost any weight?
Yeah, that joke went a bridge too far.
Sorry, your “tsk-tsk” efforts were maxed out the last time we discussed capital punishment. I’m immune to them now.
Don’t even wait. When you’re famous, you can do anything. Christie lets you.
Grab him by the FUPA…
Unless shutting down traffic was his wife’s idea, I don’t know what his point is.
Chris Christie seems pretty human to me. I feel sorry for him.
What’s funny is we all know that Mr. Ivanka nixed Christie in revenge for Chris prosecuting Mr. Ivanka’s father back in the day.
Excellent.
Between the Bush Family, the Clinton Family and now the Trump Family, it’s like the great days of the Cosa Nostra are with us always… Can the Corleones be far behind ?
Huh? I was sure I read some where that Christie committed himself to finishing out his term as governor.
Actually, I loved the first half of your sentence. The rest, meh…
Bumped.
And continuing to win friends and influence people: http://www.cnn.com/2017/07/03/politics/chris-christie-beach/index.html
