I thought he funny in ‘Monkeybone’ as the revived organ-doner.
Nope, I found him extremely funny. He shall be missed by at least one person.
Yeah. On some shows, he was the only funny tbing on it.
his torso was funny
his head was funny
most of his limbs were funny
I always thought that Chris Kattan and Jimmy Fallon were the same person…
Nope. Mango and Mr. Peepers were great. I thought for a time (but no longer), Kattan was one of the only cast members who stood out, or had real talent. But I have to agree with other posters who say he’s faded in recent years. Not sure why. Maybe he just ran out of good ideas?
would someone please mention how hot Tina Fey is. It’s against board rules for a SNL thread to not mention this topic. Get with it people !
Tina Fey is OH SO VERY HOT! I adore her. She’s the main reason I watch SNL.
I’m also a fan of Horatio Sanz (always hilarious), Tracy Morgan, and Jimmy Fallon (who will be as big as Adam Sandler with the right movie “push”.)
But I never liked Kattan at all, except as Gollum.
Did I mention how hot Tina Fey is? (women with glasses - grrr)
Apart from his lack of comedic talent, Chris Kattan is actually pretty good.
yeah, but Tina …
I liked Kattan. Mango was always good for a laugh. Although, come to think of it, it was usually the smitten guest star that was really funny. Kattan didn’t have much to do with it. I especially liked Dylan McDermott as the undercover cop posing as Mango, and David Duchovny was hilarious, even if he was just rehashing his “character” from The Larry Sanders Show.
Bout time. What a waste of space. Good riddance to Kattan, too. Maybe they can find some real talent now with all these positions coming available. Lorne Michaels must be on prozac.
Jimmy Fallon talented? The apocalypse is upon us.
Tina Fey? Tease. Period.
Television sucks.
HEYBILLH— ME TOO !
Creepy looking/acting at times, yes ! But very funny .
TRACY MORGAN ? I have yet to see him funny. Slam Whitey— ? Yes.
It was only funny when Eddy Murphy slammed Whitey.

All I know is that every time I see a Cinnabon I think of Chris Kattan as “Azrael” in the Goth Talk sketches. That cracked me the hell up.
I am, however, an easy mark.
At first I didn’t like Kattan’s work.
Then his movie came out, which I never saw. I hated the mugshot on the promotions for the flick.
Tina is hot, and not a tease. I’ll tell her when she comes out of the bathroom.
Then I saw Kattan do some very funny character work on SNL.
Don’t like Tracy Morgan’s work.
Tina rulez.
Unfortunately, those sketches stopped when Molly Shannon split a few years back. I loved “Goth Talk” (though “The Pit of Ultimate Darkness” sketches on The Kids in the Hall was way funnier) but at least Shannon’s departure meant the end of those insipid Mary Catherine Gallagher sketches, so it was a mixed blessing.
I want Tina Fey’s body wrapped around mine.
I don’t think Chris Kattan has ever made me laugh. He’s got this hyperactivity thing that he just doesn’t seem to be able to turn off, even when it gets way past the point of annoying me. As long as I don’t find myself at any of his movies, which I won’t, I’ll be fine.
