Chris

Well, it seems a bit late in arriving this year, but our first imminent tropical storm/hurricane approaching. The current three day models have it skirting along north of Hispaniola, maybe hitting Cuba or South Florida. The five day probability cone extends from the Florida “Nature Coast” down to the tip of the Yucatan.

As with any storm, it can fizzle, grow really fast, turn north, south, east, stall, etc. Just started this thread to keep an eye on her. Him. It. Whichever.

Yeehaw!

You forgot that it can even do loop-de-loops. Didn’t Androgynous Pat have a SO named Chris?

I’m in North Florida. I doubt we’ll see any of it here…at least, not until next week after it’s had the chance to get into the Gulf and swerve around. I’m hoping it’ll just be a lot of rain.

The latest AP I saw has it at 65 mph winds, somewhere off of Puerto Rico. Still way to early to know where it will go and how hard he’ll be blowing when he gets there.

Apparently Chris has slowed and is now on a more due west track through the weekend. If that holds it could possibly turn north into the Gulf and then everyone gets to worry.
