I’ve admired her for years. She’s got the background and credentials to report on the Middle Eastern region.
Actually, I haven’t see the old girl for a coupla years. Haven’t been watching much international news. Guess that will change.
She kept it together after we lost John John even though they were good friends. She’s capable, brave and a class act.
Don’t like her. Self-important and sanctimonious.
Is it just me, or does anyone else think that she’s pretty hot? 
rsa: I was thinking that the first time I read this thread. She was really hot about 10 years ago. She’s still a handsome woman. And intelligent.
I don’t know whether I am in love with her or whether I want to be her. In any case, I agree.

She’s married, and I think she just had a baby. That may be why she was off your radar for a while, Cranky.
We watch CNN in my office all day, and we’ve dubbed her “The Angel of Death”. Wherever she goes, somebody is dead, and more are going to die. She’s worse than Jessica Fletcher, whose presence usually only kills one person per week.

If you turn on CNN, and she is standing before what appears to be your hometown…LEAVE!
I really like her accent. she always sounds so cool and collected when there are missiles, angry mobs or an elephant giving birth behind her.
She is HOT and great at her job
She’s always sort of reminded me of Peg Bundy from ‘Married With Children’. In looks only, mind you; definitely not trying to disparage her professionalism.
I just like saying her name…almost as much as Sylvia Poggioli from NPR…
Christiane Amanpour is broadcasting live on CNN from in front of your office building.
She is an excellent journalist and has won several awards. She does seem to be very, very concerned about some of the things she reports about, and I’m not sure if that is a good thing.
She is pure class. And that is just something you have. You can’t learn it you just have it.
I think she ought to stay home with that baby.
Why do people have children, then run around the world making themselves feel important and special, but the child they “worked” so hard for and “waited” so long for
isnt important or special.
I imagine she will regret it one day.
The world WILL NOT end because she isn’t galavanting all over the world reporting.
Plus, like the other poster said, She is way too personally involved in most of her stories.
I said I’m not sure if caring so much is a good thing.
