Nothings wrong with that because you get to choose what you give up for Lent.
What is wrong is taking money from the National Republican Party and the Tea Party movement (which isn’t a party btw) for national office when you won’t talk to the national media anymore because it’s a local race. Picnics and staged town hall meetings are more important than national issues. That and bringing back the McCarthy era red baiting tactics.

Since we are talking about O’Donnell, who is a former Catholic, Catholics are instructed to abstain from meat on Fridays during Lent. It used to be EVERY Friday, Lent or not, before Vatican II.
Yes, luci, every Friday during Lent Catholics are required to eat two slices of pecan pie, and contemplate their sinful natures while they recover from the diabetic coma.
