I think you hit the nail on the head. I do take subtle pleasure in the carny sideshow which is the Tea Party (especially when they hold up signs that sat ‘Tea Bagging for Jesus’), but I do like a little challenge. O’Donnell is just way to easy of a target. Also, there is the whole self preservation thing going. Face it, when you hear something like ‘they’ve developed mice with fully functioning human brains,’ that can cause serious psychological and neurological damage. If you think about it for too long, the left side of your brain looks at the right side and says ‘its dark in here…and we might die.’
