Christmas Alertness Test, do you have the reaction times of a drunk, hungover, OAP or an Athlete?

Using my phone, I mostly got rated as a hung over person. I got the tipsy mark one time. That’s considered better. .298

I could get my score lower with my practice. I think I’d do better on a PC. The phone’s touch screen doesn’t react as fast as a keyboard or mouse. I’ll try it later with my pc.

Give it a try yourself. It’s harder than it looks.

Click when Santa gets shot out of the cannon. https://www.web-blinds.com/resources/christmas-alertness-test/game.html

btw, did you catch the misspelling on their web site. LOL

You’ll get a faster time loading the web site directly.

I noticed my time went up a full tenth of a second playing through Tapatalk.

Mine is consistently a full 0.200 slower on Chrome, than on Firefox. On Chrome, I’m getting .600, that’s more than a half a heart beat – in that time, I can set a cup of coffee down without spilling it and click it.

If I actually wait until I see the Santa, I’m as slow as someone with a hangover. If I really try, and use the motion of the canon as my trigger, I can just barely get to “normal person.”

Here’s another with completely different results. On the OP’s test, I get .400 on Firefox, .600 on Chrome. With the one below, I easily get under .300 on either browser.

Internet fails again, as a truth-teller. But, as usual, it’s cute and catchy.

What does OAP stand for?

Ordinary Average Person?

Given the art and the talk about not quite being a senior, I took it to me “old-ass person.”

Which, yes, I just converted to “old ass-person” and internally giggled.

Old Age Pensioner

I’d rather watch Santa bounce around.

I got “well-rested person”. .238

StG

.276 on the first try. And I’m a geezer.

Turn your head and use your perephrial vision to watch for it. I improved my score from “well rested person” to “Usain Bolt”.

Enjoy,
Steven

Trying to improve from hungover, I repeatedly fired too soon.

Where have I heard that before? :frowning:

I got a rock…

Its categories are a good deal more stringent than this one which ranks a .4 second delay as 30-year-old territory … .3 is firmly OAP in the christmas version

I got a bunch of hung overs, one tipsy, and FINALLY one well rested person.

Wait… I think that there’s something wrong with my browser, then. The canon doesn’t move and Santa just appears from the side of the screen.

The best I could manage in ten or so tries is .262.

I got .269, well rested person, on my only try.

ETA: OK, .233 on my second try. And I do wait until I actually see Santa. So far, all my tries are in the same general range, .218-.269. I’m also a few beers in, so it’ll be interesting to see tomorrow if they’re any faster.
