When I hover my mouse over thread titles, I no longer get to see the first few lines. Even Chrome’s ‘New tab’ text when I hover over the new tab button doesn’t show up. XKCD mouseover text doesn’t work anymore! Other browsers work fine, so it’s just Chrome. The internet, for once, is not being helpful in giving a solution to this, so I’m turning to the dope.
Have you rebooted your machine?
I’ve found Chrome to be balky at times. Usually, if I just close and reopen it, the problems go away.
It may be because Chrome was ‘updated’ in which case you only need to close Chrome and then re-open it, rather than rebooting your whole machine. It just happened to me a few days ago. In other words, what Chefguy said.
