The headache mentioned escalated into a full blown migraine; first one I’ve had in quite a while. I’m just gonna back off and tackle this mess when I feel a little more calm. Again, thanks for your inputs and advice.
Chrome leaks more memory for me than any other browser. Just got a Chromebook, and it does it too. I can get an average of 80 Firefox tabs open with no issue (at first), while my chrome limit is around 4.
Apart from differences in how quickly and well standard pages are rendered, and huge differences in the way you can customize browsers, there is the odd thing that is fairly unique.
Chrome’s extendibility is a bit beyond the others, and offers a bit more for people who want to make browser-based games without being strictly standards-compliant.
I like that if I’m playing Cube Slam and switch tabs, the game’s sound is muted, but if I’m playing a youtube video and switch to another tab, the sound keeps playing, because that’s something that might be desirable in context. (You should play Cube Slam.)
Also, http://thewildernessdowntown.com/ , because Arcade Fire and HTML5 and Chrome are pretty cool together.
Sorry for the slow response;
Look at tools like this.
Passwords stored in any browser can be recovered; after all, that’s the point of storing them in the first place.
My point stands: never leave your computer in the hands of someone you don’t trust. They will have access to everything you access with that system.
