I totally agree.
I wish they’d introduced that Decker guy earlier and made him more relevant.
I was thinking about this today (because apparently I have nothing better to do), and shouldn’t they return some of those millions to Volkoff’s victims? I mean, the funds weren’t exactly accumulated on the up-and-up.
Volkov was an arms dealer, not a petty thief, how do you determine who his victims were that deserve the money? Anyone that got shot with a weapon he sold? Makes more sense to use the money to keep on keepin on, taking down the next would be Volkov or whoever.
I finally caught up on the last 3 episodes this weekend and I loved the finale!
I was actually wondering when Agent X called the limo if he was going to get both Chuck and Sarah ‘Intersected’ - after all, somebody has to have the Intersect next season, as it’s the central conceit of the show, and they had that bit earlier in the Spring about ‘Whoever the next Intersect agent is, it should be somebody that Chuck picks because he knows what it takes.’ Well, Chuck picked somebody that day, in a different manner, he risked everything up to his life for Sarah and agreed to share his life with her.
On the other hand, Morgan being the Intersect is definitely better for the funny, so I certainly can’t complain on that score.
One thing that I can gripe about, though, is that my DVR usually cuts off a few seconds at the end of every episode if I’m setting it to record something else in the next time slot. So… does Morgan say something when they all gather around him, after he’s collapsed? Does he repeat the ‘I know Kung Fu’ line??
Wait a second, somebody has to have you-tubed that scene by now. (Checks youTube) Okay, got it, never mind.
<- Official Intersect smiley, now.
Yep
From what I remember, I think all you may have missed was basically: “I know Kung Fu!”. Reaction shot. Scene.
Yeah, the people he actually dealt with were just as much scumbags as he was; no reason to send money to them. They weren’t humble folk like the ones we meet on Leverage.
Probably means we’ll see more of Richard Burgi next season…
We were sitting there during the last fifteen minutes muttering to each other that this has to be a dream sequence, right? I thought that was even confirmed when Sarah was wearing a different dress to the one she’d tried on and loved - she looked like one of those dolls that grannies used to put over toilet rolls. The whole wedding was filmed with that slightly fuzzy effect that usually indicates a dream sequence.
Hate, hate, hate Morgan being the intersect. That would be crap even in a fanfic.
Don’t mind them having the money and being ‘freelance spies,’ though ‘freelance spies’ are usually called ‘mercenaries.’ Didn’t like that they all, even Casey, seemed so happy about it.
Liked Volkoff seeming to gradually get it together once he was Hartley again. ‘Hartley Winterbottom?’ Who names a child that? (Why do American shows so often give British male characters these ridiculous names?) I’m also considering watching Dalton’s Bond movies again; he’s been awesome all season.
Awesome was also awesome, with the punch, and Ellie being all businesslike. I’m glad they’re acknowledging her as a skilled person who’s just as much a Bartowski as Chuck.
Hate the ‘and you think this was all coincidence?’ line. God, they’re going to retcon everything into a huge conspiracy now? He was a good villain though - quite an ordinary one, but well-acted.
I thought it was too - another hallucination of a still-comatose Sarah. The main reason I thought it was because I swore that during the actual wedding, both Sarah & Chuck had twist-ties on their ring fingers instead of actual rings, like when Sarah was hallucinating/dreaming about their dry-run.
