Nobody called her a homophobe. Everyone said they approve of her statements. MPB in Salt Lake added that he questions her motives, panache45 is still not a big fan, and ShibbOleth and I pointed out that it would have meant more if she’d said it earlier. Is any of that in dispute?

If Obama says he always supported same sex marriage but doesn’t say anything about it until he leaves office, he’ll get the same response. If anything he’ll get a harsher response.

Because it would’ve wounded the Presidential campaign of her husband, who says publicly that he’s against it, so he wouldn’t reach the White House and thus make it less likely that her opposition on this issue would be in power?
