Circumcision shortens the size of an erect penis.

Against my parent’s wishes we decided against having our son circumcised. My husband is not circumcised while I am (we’re a married same-sex couple). When flaccid our penis size is about the same but when erect, my husband’s penis is a good inch longer than mine. We asked our family doctor why this could be and he explained that because my husband has his original foreskin his penis, when erect, is allowed to extend to its full natural length. Since my foreskin was removed soon after birth my penis cannot extend to its full natural length because it has been truncated or restricted by the loss of the additional foreskin.

It seems to me that circumcision short changes the male appendage and believe that if the average man were aware of this, he would not opt for circumcision. Size does matter.

Well, you collected two data points. Nobody can say you didn’t do the research.

This thread reminds me of the mathematician that was trying to prove all odd numbers are prime.
The engineer tell him 1, 3, 5, and 7 are all prime. That’s all the data you need.

In case you haven’t noticed this in all your years of being gay, there is no direct relationship between flaccid size and erect size. He has a “grower” and you don’t. Lots of circumcised men have growers. And your doctor is a quack.

I’ll assume the question here is: Is this true?

No.

Size of an erect penis is determined by the size of the spongiform material in the penis, not by external skin. And that is set mostly by genetics since the spongiform can’t really be stretched (otherwise, erections would stretch the spongiform tissue and each erection would make the penis constantly grow… which it doesn’t).

It is easy to determine that the presence or absence of the foreskin doesn’t limit or encourage the size of an erect penis simply by noting these two facts:

  1. For some men with a foreskin, they still have ample extra skin after full erection. So, the erection isn’t constantly growing until the skin limits it in their case. Size of erection is not correlated to amount of skin.

  2. For some circumcised who rue their parent’s decision, they have attempted to ‘regrow’ their foreskin by stretching the remain skin. They do this by taping a fold of flaccid skin over a mini weighted cup. They are able to stretch out the skin so that it can cover the glans of an erect penis. What this shows, is that the skin of a circumcised penis is still pretty stretchy. This means it certainly wouldn’t inhibit the growth of a penis to its full erectile length over time.

So, sorry, bub. You’re an inch shorter because of your parents – but not because they had you circumcised, but because they passed on crappy genes.

Ooooh…so that’s my problem.

Whereas all the datapoints I’ve seen on thee internet don’t seem to have this issue despite being circumcised. The internet is what makes your penis bigger; it says so in my email, too.

If you go to the right sites, it does make your penis bigger than it was before you visited.

It’s like having an open-top ferrari; you don’t mind losing 10 miles per hour of maximum speed.

The size of a flaccid penis isn’t a good predictor of its size when erect. I would have thought that an homosexual man would know that.

my hubs peen is more than adequate  and he is snipped.

It has nothing to do with size, but you shouldn’t clip males’ penises because when they go outside they are left defenseless and their ability to climb can be compromised. Yes, if you leave them intact they might make a mess of the furniture, but that’s in their nature and it’s just their way of marking their territory.

Where do all these wacky doctors and their silly theories come from??

I see what you did there :stuck_out_tongue:

I also don’t think flaccid isn’t exactly a constant measurement - I don’t have the advantage the OP does on his data collection - as I only have a single point of data, but that single point seems to vary by temperature, time of day, music, etc…

Come on OP, was this an actual medical doctor that told you this? It’s not like there are millions of males complaining about them feeling like their erections are hurting them in their constrained skin. You’d think your erections would then get bigger as you age - cause your skin is looser.

Yes, I have a few theories about the OP. That the OP is actually indicative of the OP’s experience and knowledge is one of those theories, but it isn’t one of the plausible theories. There is just no way a married (and therefore of mature age) gay guy with access to the internet could believe what the OP says he does.

After a certain age . . . it’s difficult to measure erections that you no longer have.

I can’t believe anyone who has a penis or played with one would believe this.

Skin is extremely elastic, particularly on your genitals, and would stretch and grow to conform to the blood vessels inside.

No worries, OP. Ol’ Jack’s got your back.

Tl;dr, but looks good. Highlights?
Plus OP got banned. Perhaps interesting signs (or perhaps not).

I can. There are enough dirty jokes out there that make no sense if one actually has a clue how a penis works that there is obviously a large ignorant population out there to perpetuate the jokes.
