A micro review: Some of it is awesome, some of it meh. Much too much of what’ I’d call “interpretive aerial dancing”. I’ve seen a couple of other CdS shows, and this was the weakest, in terms of jaw-dropping acts, stunts, and sets. When the show stuck to the boys themselves (or more accurately, their silhouettes), I was enthralled. The sound system was excellent, there were some nice set pieces, but I found myself nit-picking how they screwed up John’s stage posture.
Bottom line for this 80-percentile Beatles’ fan: thumbs up, but it could be a lot better.
