Gonna guess that “Super Stable Genius” doesn’t have the first clue what he might have.
No doubt in what passes for his mind the only issue at hand is “This belongs to the President; I’m the President; it’s mine; I’m taking it with me”. If he could’ve moved the White House itself, he would’ve put that sucker on the largest flatbed he could find and take it with him.
Nah, the place is ‘A Dump’.
It’ll never happen but I would like his opinion of Leavenworth. Or even ‘Club Fed’.
And if the DOJ wakes up from their slumber and moves to prosecute him for this, it could be a problem. These same documents will also be so classified they cannot be described in court (let alone brought in and displayed).
I’m pretty sure the DOJ has processes in place for cases that may involve classified information. So don’t let that stop you, AG Garland.
A search warrant should be obtained, and Mar-a-lardo should be stripped down to the studs.
No matter what they tell you, there are no studs at Mar-a-lago.
The more time that passes the more convinced I am that Trump is never going to face any consequences for anything, ever. And I am not in favor.
As I posted in the Ukraine invasion thread:
My current favorite nutty theory: Just before Trump’s departure from office, counter espionage agents deliberately left “top secret” documents around that confirmed that the US intelligence services did not believe Putin would invade Ukraine, and if he did that the US would not do much.
A treasure trove of “intelligence” that basically emboldened Putin and made him think that NATO allies were disorganized and disagreed.
And they knew that this bogus intelligence in Trump’s hand would quickly make it’s way to Putin.
Essentially a version of the Canary Trap.
/ crazy town
It would be a good thought to think that we used Trump’s own stupidity to mislead Putin. Except for that we then would have Ukranian blood on our hands. (In this specific scenario.)
But an implosion is ever so more satisfying.
Can we add a nice fireball as a finishing touch? We might not get any (more) evidence, but at least the remaining classified documents would be safely destroyed. (We have to assume there are more, based on the cockroach principle.)
And even if there were, I damn sure don’t want to see them stripped down.
I think I have a solution to the “Secret Service protection in prison” problem:
Reopen Alcatraz as a prison with only one inmate.
And now I’m thinking of this again, damn you…
Isn’t that the guy with a drinking problem? I can see how that might happen.
Well, if he didn’t have one before…
Smugglers have sawed through Individual 1’s wall over 3000 times to enter the country.
Easy enough when the walls are built from Papier-mâché. Only the best construction materials!
Foreseeable by no one – except people with brains.
