Does anyone know of a good site for locating towns and cities? The sites I’ve tried seemed to locate only larger towns. Has anyone heard of a town named Andrea?
The USGS Geographic Names Information search page is a good place to try- http://mapping.usgs.gov/www/gnis/gnisform.html
They show an Andrea, Township of, in Minnesota at

If you can narrow it down to the state that the town is in, Mapquest can usually locate it. I have located towns with populations as little as a few hundred people that way without fail.
