Starting to worry that I’ll ever get a proper army assembled.

I tried to emulate your 1553 treasure train problem, but couldn’t. :frowning:

I built a second Port, but treasure trains could always be sailed home from it.

I did learn that colonists on the Docks count towards your population for purposes of Rebel Sentiment. So if you have several people you don’t want there, you need to put them on a boat, then disband them.

Also the King never demanded an increase in his tax rate, even after 100 years.
Perhaps it was because my population was so small (only 2; because I didn’t want to spend time moving units, I kept disbanding new Colonists).

Very odd about the treasure train.

How was your RS with only 2 pop? I figured that was a real trigger for the King making demands and adding to the REF.

My RS reached 56%, but the King never made a tax demand!
I think the tax demand must be based on the amount of trade you do with Europe (or something like that).

The King asked for money a couple of times, but not large amounts.
I assume he asks for more if you have more yourself…

I guess the REF is increased when your converted population is high i.e. if you have 2 people at 50%, he’s not bothered, but if you have 20 people at 50%, he is.

When the king asks for gold, it’s definitely based on how much you have in your coffers. He’s asked me for as much as 1600 and as little as 90 (based on memory).

Rebel sentiment at 100% in all but Cayenne where it’s 88 percent. Don’t know how this explains 61% overall rebel sentiment

REF: 124 regulars, 20 dragoons, 23 artillery, 32 warships

Running out of time!!! 167 to 48 ground troops. I won’t start a revolution until I get to at least 3 to 1.

Your Rebel Sentiment is calculated on all your population, not just those in Colonies.
So you have ‘Rebel sentiment at 100% in all but Cayenne where it’s 88 percent’, but effectively your troops need to be converted too (which is why it’s 61% overall).

5 dragoons, 2 soldiers, and 1 artillery in square north of Quebec
2 dragoons, 9 soldiers, and 1 artillery are near Incan settlement of Tiwanuka

The Great General shares 20 xp equally with each unit in the same square.
If you move one chosen unit away one square, then put the Great General in that square, then activate the Great General, your unit will get all 20xp - and a couple of promotions.
