Clarification on guest membership?

Hi,
I have just signed up to the guest membership, and fully intend to fork over my $14.95. However I just want to make sure I’m not inadvertently breaking the rules. I’ve just seen Ed’s sticky on this thread about repeated guest memberships.

I’ve been posting here for a while, see, back when it was free, but was stuck with a fairly lame username. (Yep, lamer than this one.) I wasn’t going to pay up, but I kept on reading threads and eventually the pain of not being able to throw in my two-penn’orth got too great. So here I am again. Anyway, that username is expired, and I don’t want to use it any more, so I signed up for a new username, with a different email address. Is this A Bad Thing? Should I have got a mod to change the name on my old account?

Basically I just want to state on the record that I’m not trying to bilk ol’ Cecil out of some more free posting time. Here, take my money, take it all…

(I used to be r_k, by the way. If anyone remembers/cares.)

I do not speak for the board, but, yes, if you pay the membership fee on the old username, you can then email one of the admins to change the name on it. You won’t be able to use this name anymore, however (at least I don’t believe they will allow it) unless you get some sort of special dispensation which requires much chocolate and big sacrifices to the hampsters. Until then, I’d suggest not posting under this name anymore, and contact TubaDiva to explain the situation. Good luck

Please send me an email.

Give me your old name, your new sorta puppet name, and who you really want to be. Please indicate which of these member accounts is the one you wish to use. I’ll delete the other one.

Then you can go subscribe and everything will be copacetic.

That’s TubaDiva@aol.com.
