I still have a few weeks left on my guest membership, but I don’t think I will be able to afford the fee in time(been on LOA from work and I’m currently battling Ye Olde Insurance Company). Anyway, if I have to let my membership lapse for a few months or so, will I still be able to use the same screenname and everything?
Exactly.
Only one name per member is the rule. If your guest membership expires, your username and password will be good for a long long time. We almost never purge screen names, in fact.
Simply subscribe using this screen name, then log on using the same password you use now. Easy enough. If you have problems, any of the helpful admin or mods will be able to help you.
